Christmas 2007

We (Clay, Karen and Lucy) spent Christmas 2007 in sunny Wilmington, NC with Clay's family. We all agreed that it was wonderful having Clay home for the holidays and appreciated the opportunity to spend time together. Movies, mimosas, chocolate, political discussion, great gifts and lots of laughter best describe the long weekend. We're back in snowy New York to celebrate the New Year and begin our new journey.

3 Years!

We met our freshman (Karen) and sophomore (Clay) year of college; we lived in the same dorm, Clemson House. It all started when Karen's R.A. dragged her down to the third floor so she could show Karen a guy she liked (that would be Clay). The R.A. soon stopped talking to Karen and the rest is history.

Today is our three year wedding anniversary. We were young (21 & 22) when we married but it made sense then and it still makes sense three years later. As our Army experience winds to an end we're very much looking forward to what the future may bring.

p.s. Thank you to all of our family and friends who helped us celebrate the day three years ago and a HUGE thank you to our parents for throwing us one spectacular wedding!

Brigade Ball

This past weekend we attended the 3rd Brigade Ball at Fort Drum. After the event a bunch of us associated with the unit went to some establishments in downtown Sackets Harbor. A fun night indeed.
