Burgers and Shotguns...

This evening we had a backyard barbecue with some friends who will soon be departing the lovely north territory. Our dogs ran while we talked and the guys shot clay (no, not my husband) discs and became buddies with quite the character. We had about 2 1/2 hours of sunshine before a late summer thunderstorm rained (hahaha) on our parade.

This man just randomly walked onto John and Erin's property with his gun and starting shooting discs after conversing for some time. From up near the house, us girls had no idea what was going on and at first thought the man was confronting the them for shooting. Clay reports that the man had a large mustard stain on the side of his face and was very excited that they're were shooting discs so he could join in....and that he did! The thunderstorm saved the guys from spending too much time with quite the character...a great way to end a nice evening.
